Structure of sentence in English and Hindi
अंग्रेजी और हिंदी में वाक्य की संरचना
Subject and Predicate
विषय और विधेय
In
English and in Hindi both, a sentence can generally
be divided into two parts-the Subject and the
Predicate.
अंग्रेजी
और हिंदी दोनों भाषाओं में, वाक्य
को साधारणत: दो भागों में विभाजित किया जा
सकता है-
Subject (कर्ता) और विधेय।
Subject कर्ता |
Predicate विधेय |
Dasrath |
was a king |
दशरथ |
एक राजा थे। |
Ram’s father Dasrath |
was the king
of Ayodhya. |
राम के पिता दशरथ |
अयोध्या के राजा थे। |

Subject
Thus
we see that there is certainly at least one Subject Word in the Subject in
English.
इस
प्रकार हम देखते हैं कि निश्चित रूप से अंग्रेजी के सबजेक्ट में एक विषय शब्द (Subject Word) जरूर होता है।
Generally
this word is either a Noun or a Pronoun.
आम
तौर पर यह शब्द या तो संज्ञा या सर्वनाम होता है।
It
is called the Subject Word(कर्ता शब्द) or simply the Subject (कर्ता).
इसे
सब्जेक्ट वर्ड (कर्ता शब्द) या केवल सब्जेक्ट (कर्ता)कहा जाता है।
Sometimes
there are also some adjective (विशेषण) or adjectival (कर्ता
का परिचायक)
with the subject.
कभी-कभी
सबजेक्ट के साथ कुछ विशेषण या एडेक्टीवल (कर्ता का परिचायक) भी होते हैं।
They
are called the Extension of the subject.
उन्हें
कर्ता का विस्तार कहा जाता है।
Predicate
We
see that there is certainly a finite verb (mukhya kriya) - in the predicate.
हम
देखते हैं कि predicate में कम से कम एक finite verb पूर्ण क्रिया जरूर होता है
– जैसे
Besides
them there are compliments, objects and other extension of the predicate.
उनके
अलावा compliments,
objects और
विधेय के अन्य विस्तार होते हैं।
But
the extension of the predicate is always after the finite verb in English.
लेकिन
अंग्रेजी में predicate का विस्तार हमेशा finite verb के बाद होता है।
While
it is before the finite verb in Hindil
जबकि
यह हिंदी में finite verb से
पहले है
In
the Predicate there is certainly at least one finite verb.
Predicate में निश्चित रूप से कम से कम एक finite verb है।
Generally,
with the finite verb there are Purak
(compliment), Karm (object), Kria visheshan (adverb), Kria visheshan pad
(adverb phrase), extension of the Karm with the predicate.
आम
तौर पर, finite
verb के साथ पूरक (compliment), कर्म, क्रिया विशेषण(adverb),
क्रिया विशेषण पद (adverb phrase), कर्म का विस्तार आदि होते हैं।
The
finite verb comes in the last of the predicate.
finite
verb विधेय के अंतिम
में आती है।
In the same way we see in Hindi sentences also, that there is at
least one subject word (karta) in the subject.
इसी
प्रकार हम हिन्दी वाक्यों में भी देखते हैं कि सबजेक्ट में कम से कम एक (कर्ता
शब्द) होता ही है।
Sometimes
there are also some adjective adjective (visheshan) or adjectival (karta ka
parichayak) with the subject.
कभी-कभी
subject के साथ कुछ एडजेक्टिव या एडजेक्टिवल
(कर्ता का परिचायक) भी होते हैं।
They
are called the Extension of the subject (or uddesya ka vistar).
उन्हें
subject का विस्तार कहा जाता है।
In
the Predicate there is certainly at least one finite verb.
Predicate में निश्चित रूप से कम से कम एक finite verb होता है।
Generally, with the finite verb there are Purak (compliment), Karm (object),
Kria visheshan (adverb), Kria visheshan pad (adverb phrase), extension of the
Karm with the predicate.
आम
तौर पर,
finite verb के
साथ पूरक (complimen), कर्म, क्रिया विशेषण, क्रिया विशेषण पद, विधेय के साथ कर्म का विस्तार होते
हैं।
The
finite verb comes in the last of the predicate.
finite
verb प्रेडिकेट के
अंत में आता है।
word orders
Thus
it is obvious that there is a great difference between the word orders of these
languages.
इस
प्रकार यह स्पष्ट है कि इन भाषाओं के शब्द क्रम में बहुत अंतर है।
English:
Subject with extension + Finite Verb + Extension of Predicate.
अंग्रेजी:
कर्ता (विस्तार के साथ) + पूर्ण क्रिया +
विधेय का विस्तार।
Hindi
: Subject with extension + Extension of Predicate + Finite Verb
हिंदी
: कर्ता (विस्तार के साथ) + पूरक/ कर्म/ विधेय का अन्य विस्तार + पूर्ण क्रिया

अंग्रेजी
और हिंदी दोनों में, subject और
